it snowed ! i love the snow. its my favorite part of the winter. so i had to take pictures, even though they're not that great of shots. they're from my window in my dorm. the first one i like that you can see the snow sticking on the ground, i like the pink in the sky of the second one and the snow, and i just liked the third one in general. 

final product !

so we had our crit in class thursday and i changed some stuff since then. i layered 4 pictures i thought best described the lines i chose from the song and changed the opacity. one of my favorite parts of this final product is the "light of day" i used flower petals to scan in and arranged them as the letters in the scanner. and the rest of the worlds i wrote on a transparency then scanned it in. 

so overall i really like how it turned out :]

for our next digital project we had to pick a song to inspire a music poster. im doing "drops of jupiter" by train. and the 2lines in the song that are my inspiration are

"did the wind sweep you off your feet

did you finally get the chance 

to dance along the light of day"

so i shot pictures of my best friend, Hannah. and her friend Michelle was there too so shes ina few. the lines of that song make me think of movement, fun, and being free. not having a care in the world. and enjoying the simple things in life. so i wanted to pictures to be warm and fun. these are some of my favorites. 

this was our digital/analog project !

i really like how it turned out. it took me 3sessions of shooting with 3different people to get the perfect bubble shot, so i'm happy with it.

it's the fall :]

this is my favorite season. i love all of the colors; how bold they are and their contrast. i love seeing the leaves change colors. these were taken saturday near my house. i went out with my dad to take pictures and im pretty happy with the ones i have. 

the kitten was on the road we were walking through and started following me. i thought that picture was cute

i went to Laguna, California over the summer for vacation. my friend emily came with us and our friend mandy from school lives out there. these are some of the pictures i took that i really like. the first is probably one of my favorites ever. then there are some fun ones i thought id just throw in there :]
